Doki Doki Blue Skies中的诗歌，在前几次写诗都为夏树而写、进入夏树线之后，夏树会给你写出这样一首诗歌。原文如下：
A beaten down path inbetween the trees
As I walk along, all of a sudden I see
A deer in the thicket, staring back at me

His soft brown fur that blends in with the ground
His gentle hooves that don’t make a sound

这首诗歌的特点是每节的每一句都押韵，因此翻译起来相当费事；第二节当中的中间两句看似与第1、4句不同韵（貌似ABBA的“交韵”），实际发音中存在部分吞音，末尾的d可以忽略，也就是说四句实际同韵。从主题上来讲，这与夏树日常的风格相差甚远，但是从押韵等角度来说又是极为夏树风的一首。
