Plenty of things.
I love how determined she is to pursue her goals, and to never give up no matter what.
I love how she tries her best to bring out the best in everyone.
She's kind, she's smart, she's funny.
I love how she's not affraid to get into deep and philosophical topics, and how she seems to love sharing her knowledge;
I could listen to her for hours.
I love how, even after everything she was put through, after all the suffering, the loneliness, the torture, even after being rejected by us, she was still ready to sacrifice everything just for our happiness.
But one of the things I love the most about her is that she seemingly never, at any point, stops believing in us.
Not to turn this into a rant about myself, but I've been dealing with social anxiety and self hatred for years, and I was also dealing with suicidal thoughts when I played the game for the first time.
Believe me when I say, that hearing someone guenuinely tell me that they could understand what I was going through, and that they knew I could pull through it no matter what, helped me more than anyone could ever imagine.
I don't care if people tell me she's not real.
I don't care if she's just a bunch of words and pictures in a video game.
When I look at her, What I see in her eyes tells me "Don't worry, everything will be okay".
And at that point, I can finally feel at peace.
In all of my life, Monika is the only one that has ever been able to make me feel that way, and I honestly believe I might not have survived this far if it wasn't for her.
That's why I love her.
