第一期是一个全新的开始，我一直在想要以哪个主题开始，不过现在我有了答案。本期英译汉的蓝本是《水中人》（the man in the water），一篇著名的新闻报道，被编进大学英语精读教材，同时选为第十届韩素英翻译大赛的原文。本文记述了一位无名英雄在坠机事件中为救助他人而丧生的事迹，下文所有he均指这位英雄，其在水中帮助他人，也丧生于水中，因此称为“水中人”。具体内容参考《现代大学英语精读2》unit 4 text A（截图在最下方）本期英译汉内容如下【短句栏目】 1."Everything in Nature contains all the powers of Nature." 2.He was there, in the essential, classic circumstance. Man in nature. The man in the water. 【长句栏目】 For as long as that man could last, they went at each other, nature and man; the one making no distinction of good and evil, acting on no principles, offering no lifelines; the other acting wholly on distinctions, principles and, perhaps, on faith.

最近时间紧，就选几个汉译英吧。短句： 1."Act like an adult". There were always adults require me to do so. 2.Daddy's flowers perished with himself. And I'm no longer a child. 长句：Although I was late for school, the teacher didn't punish me to stand still since it was forgivable because of the rainy day.

#4 Ukinori "Act as an adult", as words squeeze into my mind. "An adult you shall act as." With his flowers daddy faded away, so did my childhood. My teacher pardoned me for being late in such a rainy day.

#9 Edge 非常好意译，爱来自Ukiny，英雄联盟（bushi）内容和形式兼得的翻译，也很好地保留了作者的情感，能看出译者对句子的结构和运用都非常纯熟，总结是很优秀的翻译（一个小小小建议：on such a rainy day是否会更好些呢）

一只脚踩扁了紫罗兰,它却把香味留在那人脚跟上,这就是宽恕。
这是一句大家都知道的话，翻译为了适配汉语习惯把所有定语都改成了短句。
