第一期是一个全新的开始，我一直在想要以哪个主题开始，不过现在我有了答案。
本期英译汉的蓝本是《水中人》（the man in the water），一篇著名的新闻报道，被编进大学英语精读教材，同时选为第十届韩素英翻译大赛的原文。
本文记述了一位无名英雄在坠机事件中为救助他人而丧生的事迹，下文所有he均指这位英雄，其在水中帮助他人，也丧生于水中，因此称为“水中人”。
